Unitronic is pleased to introduce Valet Mode, the latest UAF drop for the MK8 GTI, MK8 Golf R, 8Y S3, and 8Y RS3, further expanding the capabilities of Unitronic's ever-growing Advanced Feature suite. For customers who already have Unitronic's UAF Add-On, Valet Mode can be added for free! This new function severely limits engine performance, while still retaining basic drivability, to provide additional peace of mind when temporarily handing the keys of your vehicle over to others.
Whether your vehicle is being parked by a valet or being driven by an other third-party, Valet Mode helps ensure your vehicle is not driven aggressively or abused through limiting engine performance, while still retaining basic drivability. Valet Mode can be controlled on the fly within Unitronic's UAF Control App, giving you convenient access at your fingertips from any iOS or Android based device.
When Valet Mode is active:
• Maximum engine speed is limited to 3500rpm
• Throttle response is reduced
• Maximum engine load is limited
Latest UAF Feature Drop
Valet Mode is the latest feature to drop within Unitronic's ever-growing UAF Suite and is now available to new and existing customers with the UAF Add-On at no additional cost. Existing customers with the UAF Add-On will need to reflash their ECU via UniCONNECT+ or through any Unitronic Authorized Dealer to gain access to this new function.
As always, Unitronic's FeatureBox or UniFLEX module is required in order to enable Unitronic Advanced Features on 2.0TSI EVO4 or 8Y 2.5TFSI vehicles.
