Braselton, GA — After a promising run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Unitronic JDC-Miller Motorsports heads to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for the final round of the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season, ready to close out the year with one more strong performance from the No. 17 Unitronic Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.

Carrying Momentum From Indianapolis
The team enters the season finale carrying momentum from Indianapolis, where Chris Miller and Mikey Taylor delivered the No. 17 Porsche its first top-10 finish of the 2026 season. The result followed a weekend of strong performances, with the No. 17 increasingly demonstrating the pace needed to compete near the front of a highly competitive GS field, on its way to a P9 finish in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 120.

Road Atlanta Finale
The FOX Factory 120 will mark the final IMSA race for the No. 17 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, bringing an end to a two-year chapter for Unitronic JDC-Miller Motorsports. Fittingly, the team originally picked up the Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport just down the road from Road Atlanta at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta two years ago.

For Mikey Taylor, the weekend represents an opportunity to finish the chapter on a high note.
“What a run its been with the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, and how fitting it is that Road Atlanta will be the last IMSA race for us with it as we originally picked it up two years ago just down the road near the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta!
Although we haven't achieved the success we set out to achieve when moving up from TCR into GS with Porsche, I firmly believe we have had a much more competitive year in 2026, especially in the last 3 or 4 races, where we have constantly been towards the sharp end of the field as the fastest Porsche team. I'm looking forward to pushing hard one last time to try get our #17 on the podium and reward the whole team for all their work over the last two years!”

GMP Joins the Team for More Racing Action
